Step 1 (Why are you Selling)

Write down all the reasons why you want to sell your home. Also, think about what you expect to accomplish from selling your home. Beggs Real Estate Group will work with you to determine the best path to achieve your goals and set realistic expectations for the sale of your home.

Step 2 (How Much is it Worth)

The next objective is determining the best possible price to list your home. Listing at fair market price will generate the most activity from buyers and other real estate agents. We will need to take into the following things:

  • Condition of your home
  • What comparable homes in your neighborhood are selling for
  • Average time sold homes were on the market
  • Location

Pricing your home too much could take longer to sell. If you could also have an appraisal done prior to listing your home to get an objective opinion on what it should be listed at.

Step 3 (Prepare your Home)

The condition of your home will affect how quickly it sells. Here’s a few tips on how you can get your house ready to sell.

  • Remove family pictures to help buyers visualize themselves as the homeowners
